We are looking for editors with 3-5 years experience in content writing and editing in the genres of lifestyle, beauty, travel, realty, retail, apparel, management and finance. Candidates must have thorough knowledge of the publishing and printing industry and be skilled in conceptualization of magazine content.
SUB EDITORS
Candidates must possess an excellent command of the English language and should be able to edit and rewrite features and content. Ability to work in a team environment and handle deadlines are a must. In addition, candidates must be able to demonstrate creative thinking and writing skills. In particular, candidates must possess a knack for reading the market pulse and accordingly select topics and story angles. A degree in journalism and experience in publishing will be considered as a plus.
GRAPHIC DESIGNERS
Candidates must possess the requisite qualifications and be able to showcase a portfolio that illustrates the ability to conceptualize and create contemporary and original design work. Experience in magazine and online publishing will be an added advantage.
MARKETING MANAGER
Spenta is looking for a Marketing Manager who will be able to successfully launch a lifestyle newsstand magazine. Candidates with a proven track record in positioning and building media brands may apply for this post.
MARKETING EXECUTIVES
Spenta has marketing offices located in the cities of Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkatta, Hyderabad, and Chennai. The marketing teams at these centres are trained to monitor markets and understand readership and advertising trends. This ongoing monitoring is then used to develop Spenta publications in line with market and target segment needs and interests, leading to the building and sustaining of readership and advertiser interest in Spenta publications. We currently have marketing positions available in our Mumbai and Bangalore offices. Candidates with experience in publishing and related media industries will be given preference.
CIRCULATION MANAGER
Circulation of Spenta contract/custom and newsstand publications is a critical link in the marketing of Spenta publications. The circulation manager must, therefore, be able to market Spenta’s publication portfolio to distribution agents, channel and alliance partners, readers and advertisers. In particular, the circulation manager must be able to develop circulation and distribution strategies and channels to ensure that target circulation figures for each magazine are achieved. Prior experience in managing media distribution channels is essential.
CIRCULATION EXECUTIVES
Spenta is looking for young and dynamic circulation executives who will be able to meet the challenge of implementing the circulation and distribution objectives of individual Spenta magazines. Prior experience in managing magazine circulation and distribution channels is essential.
FINANCE
Spenta is currently in the process of expanding its finance team to keep pace with its growing publishing and printing business. Applications are invited from both experienced accountants and fresh B.Com graduates.
GENERAL MANAGER (PRESS OPERATIONS)
Candidates must possess the requisite technical qualifications and be experienced in the setting up of operational systems and an efficient supply chain. Candidates must also possess labour management skills, the ability to build excellent supplier relationships, and the capability of increasing overall operational productivity. Candidates with prior experience in attaining ISO standards and managing a large printing press will be given preference.
MARKETING MANAGER (PRINT PRODUCTION)
Candidates must be experienced in business development, building client relationships, and leading a team of marketing executives. Candidates must necessarily possess knowledge of the printing business.
BINDERY SUPERVISOR
