Spenta Multimedia was established in 1995 with the vision of tapping a hitherto unfulfilled need in the Indian publishing industry, namely, custom publishing for specialized and corporate needs. To fulfil this need, Spenta set about building resources, which would enable it to offer its clients complete publishing and printing solutions, ranging from conceptualisation to editorial, design, printing, distribution, marketing and advertisement sales.

Spenta began with a single magazine – Jetwings, the in-flight magazine of what is now India’s largest airline, Jet Airways. Today, Spenta’s portfolio includes 32 custom and 6 consumer titles; 3 event properties, over 80 clients for web based/enabled publishing solutions and a growing list of clients for content services and book publishing. Spenta publishes magazines across the genres of travel, retail, lifestyle, beauty, finance and management, and has grown into the position of India’s leading custom publisher.

  • Marwar – Acquired by Spenta in 2008, Marwar magazine has since grown in stature amongst its      targeted reader and advertiser segment. Indeed, the success of the magazine is evidenced by the      Marwar Barclays Wealth Round Table Series – a feature that has enabled Barclays to reach out to      eminent industrialists with the objective of building a relationship with them.

  • Worldwide recognition in the form of Jetwings being adjudged second runner-up in the in-flight magazine     category at the 18th annual Avion awards, held on September 15th 2006 by the World Airline     Entertainment Association (WAEA) at Miami Beach, Florida, USA.

 • Hello, the Spenta published magazine for Club Mahindra, won the silver award in the external     newsletter category at the Annual Association of Business Communicators of India Awards, 2007.
